New Visuals and Blood Effects Counter-Strike 2 introduced a plethora of visual enhancements, including realistic environmental effects and a new system to boost the game’s blood-splatter mechanics. Explosions from grenades and the detonation of C4 now deliver immersive visuals, whereas blood splatters are a lot more realistic, contributing to the game's mature aesthetic. Mini-Map Visual Audio Indicator

The mini-map in Counter-Strike 2 received an upgrade with the inclusion of visual audio indicators, enhancing situational awareness for players. When characters make sounds like footsteps, a circular ring appears around their icon on the mini-map, signaling the radius within which other players can detect the noise.
